Cookie Policy
Last updated 24 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how LegalPro Law Corporation (“LegalPro”) uses cookies and similar technologies on legalpro.pro. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and managing your choices via the cookie banner, you control non-essential cookies as described below. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels on this site.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, maintain security and — if you consent — understand how visitors use pages in aggregate. Similar technologies include local storage entries used to record your cookie consent choice. Cookies cannot access other files on your device or run programmes.
2. How we use cookies — categories
We group cookies into three categories:
Strictly necessary
These cookies and storage entries are essential for the website to function. They include load balancing, session continuity where applicable, and storage of your cookie consent decision under the key legalpro_cookie_consent. They cannot be switched off via our banner because the site would not operate correctly without them. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable guidance, but we still inform you about them in this policy and the banner.
Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic — for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay and whether errors occur. We use this information to improve structure and content, not to profile individuals for advertising. Analytics cookies are placed only if you click “Accept all” or enable analytics in “Customise”. If you reject analytics, we do not load third-party analytics scripts.
Preferences
Preference cookies remember choices such as dismissed notices or display preferences where implemented. They are optional and require consent via the banner. Preference cookies are not used to track you across other websites.
3. Cookie banner and six-month consent storage
When you first visit legalpro.pro, a banner offers three options:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, analytics and preference cookies;
- Reject all — enables only strictly necessary cookies;
- Customise — lets you toggle analytics and preferences individually, then save.
Your choice is stored in browser local storage under the key legalpro_cookie_consent for six months (approximately 180 days), after which the banner will appear again so you can review your preferences. The stored record includes which categories you accepted and a timestamp. Strictly necessary storage of the consent record itself is required to honour your choice during that period.
4. Specific cookies and storage items
| Name / key | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
legalpro_cookie_consent |
Strictly necessary | Records consent choice (local storage) | 6 months |
_ga (if enabled) |
Analytics | Google Analytics — distinguishes users | 2 years |
_gid (if enabled) |
Analytics | Google Analytics — distinguishes users | 24 hours |
_gat (if enabled) |
Analytics | Google Analytics — throttles request rate | 1 minute |
Analytics cookies are loaded only after consent. If we change vendors, this table will be updated and material changes noted here with a revised effective date.
5. Third-party vendors
Potential third-party providers when analytics is enabled:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — web analytics. Google may process data on servers outside Singapore subject to contractual safeguards. See Google's privacy documentation for opt-out tools such as the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Fonts are loaded from Google servers when you visit our site. Font requests may transmit your IP address to Google. We use fonts for display purposes; analytics is separate and consent-gated. We do not use advertising networks, remarketing pixels or social-media embeds that track browsing behaviour across sites.
6. How to change or withdraw consent (opt-out)
You may change your cookie preferences at any time by:
- Clearing site data / local storage for legalpro.pro in your browser settings — the banner will reappear on your next visit;
- Using browser settings to block third-party or all cookies (note: strictly necessary functions may be affected and the banner may display on every visit if the consent record cannot be saved);
- Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if analytics was previously accepted;
- Emailing [email protected] if you need assistance.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. If you withdraw analytics consent, we stop loading analytics scripts on subsequent visits once you clear the prior consent record or it expires after six months.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Instructions vary by browser — consult your browser's help section for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or mobile equivalents. Blocking all cookies may prevent the consent record from saving and cause the banner to display on every visit.
8. Do Not Track
Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because industry standards are inconsistent. We rely on the explicit consent mechanism described above rather than inferring consent from DNT headers.
9. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features or change vendors. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Check this page periodically for the current list of cookies. Material changes may be highlighted on the homepage or in the cookie banner text.
